Time for a Vision

At lunch yesterday I said something to the effect that we, Faith, should use the Acts 29 Network to model certain changes in our church, not the least of which would be in our Small Group ministry.   This can seem to be something of a leap in that Acts 29 is all about church planting and small group ministries are about relationships in the Gospel Community.  But think about it and you’ll discover that one is really a natural progression or outgrowth of the other.  Anyway, Mark Driscoll and the Acts 29 guys can articulate this better than I can.  To wit:

If you are new to “Driscoll & Co.”, I would encourage you to sniff (or surf) around the following, related, sites:

1.       The Resurgence      http://theresurgence.com/
2.     Mars Hill Church    http://www.marshillchurch.org/
3.     Acts 29 Network   http://acts29network.org/

Once you get into what’s happening, you might really get excited to hear Mark Driscoll summarize what’s happening in the following video talk, “ We are a Movement ” :  http://www.theresurgence.com/raleigh-a29-bootcamp-we-are-a-movement

Pssst.  If you start to catch the vision, don’t tell the elders.  They’ll accuse us of having an agenda ... and we wouldn’t want that to happen. J
